Chilterns fine food cafe, Hertfordshire
Tring is an important market town set in heart of the Chilterns at the western tip of Hertfordshire, between Aylesbury and Hemel Hempstead. The town owes much of its recent history to the Rothschild family, but now there are more and more reasons to visit, such as the world famous Zoological museum, the local museum, Pendley Court theatre, Tring Park and the recently renovated Memorial Gardens to name but a few.
The town is also fast becoming a haven for foodies; with a great range of places to eat and drink; we at Beechwood Fine Foods have established an influential business in the heart of the town centre, sourcing only British and local produce and providing a wonderful range of homemade cakes and light meals served with fantastic fairtrade coffee, in our “Farm Shop in Town” environment.
We are proud to promote the local producers and suppliers of the produce we offer such as our seasonal fruit and veg sourced from Grove Farm Ivinghoe, goats cheese from Wobbly Bottom Farm Hitchin, cakes and biscuits by Cakes and Bakes of Tring, and Lavender products from Hertfordshire’s only lavender farm nr Hitchin.
Light meals and other food available throughout opening hours.
Public parking (with 1st hour free) located within 50m of the premises.
Level access suitable for less able visitors
Responsible travel: Chilterns fine food cafe, Hertfordshire
The ethos behind our business is to promote and support, British and more particular local producers. We have lived in this area for over 10 years during that time we have built up a substantial local knowledge of the area that continues to develop as we work closely with local producers and forums that are intended to develop local knowledge, such as the Dacorum local Food Forum, dacorumlocalfood.org.uk.
We are delighted to share our experiences and knowledge with visitors to our cafe/deli to ensure that visitors to Tring and the surrounding area gain as much pleasure and enjoyment from their visit as we do from living here.
