We were blessed with consistently clear, sunny almost 80-degree weather. And the small towns where we stayed overnight were charming and still very rural, but with nice accommodations and pubs. We have never been on a walking holiday of this duration, and it's by far the best form of locomotion.

This was our second visit to The Cotswolds (last over 4 years ago) and we were charmed anew. Too often our holiday experience has been such we're ready to return home after a few days, but on this occasion a week passed quickly, happily, relatively comfortably.

Home from home accommodation with beautiful views, where our 6 and 3 year old could explore Godshill farm freely, safely and meet new friends also staying on the farm. To hear the Animals in the morning in the surrounding fields make it a special and exciting way for children to start the day. (more)
Looking round the forge in the B&B was fascinating and discussing how it operated. Also the meal at the lovely nearby pub and trying to do their pub quiz.
