How this holiday makes a difference
We are fortunate to live in the midst of the Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our views extend to the South Downs and the sea beyond. North, East and West are views of the surrounding hills with no urban interruptions. We have 100 acres of our own land, mostly grazing but part woodland and part water. Our lake, which contains mainly carp and tench is situated in a peaceful valley and guests may walk right round enjoying the lakeside plants and water wild life. We have seats so an alternative is to sit and relax beside the water or even take a picnic. The walk through the woods is also magical especially in spring when bluebells carpet the ground. There is a badger sett deep in the woods, deer abound and in the winter it is possible to see a stoat and perhaps other wild life. We would very much like our guests to enjoy with us our unique position in the countryside. We are sure that after the magnificent view from the bedroom windows they will want to explore further. One warning, as we live on a hill, sometimes the walks can be quite strenuous.
